(User Info ) | You are obviously very naive or very ignorant if you can come up with a statement like this:
"I have a bold claim to make: that nothing but the economic sanctions imposed on our country by the "Western world", with the complicity of the MDC, accounts for the economic decline that we have witnessed"
Are you implying that none of the following contributed to Zimbabwe's economic decline?
1) Paying of unbudgeted gratuities to war vets in 1997 "black friday.
2) Paying for the DRC war.
3) Corruption
4) Poor economic management
5) Poor land redistribution as in giving land to Mugabe's pals instead of trained black farmers?
6) Stealing from ZPF ministers and other leaders
7) Lack of accountability to the people
8) Keeping dead wood in key government positions
I could go on forever but I guess you don't let minor facts like these get in the way of your supporting Mugabe just because he is one African who can tell the west to "go hang'? |
