Elected "President" Pepe Lobo [ no doubt called "little wolf" by his gringo puppeteers at the Embassy ] will accept the strings of of attachment to the invisible government and state power that continues to rule in Honduras -- a committee of representatives of the army high command and of the ten ruling oligarchic families, who meet under the chairmanship of the US ambassador of the day, and with the blessing of the ranking cleric of the Roman Catholic Church.

    Processo Digital reported this morning that the new Congress will deliver and vote on an political amnesty bill tomorrow. This claim was voiced by the host of Frente a Frente TV program, Renato Alvarez. He reports that a meeting over the weekend that included the new head of Congress, the chief justice of the Supreme Court, and Lobo Sosa, but not the public prosecutor, Luis Rubi, resulted in agreement to move forward immediately on this legislation.

    The Honduran National People's Resistance Front (FNRP), led by union leader Juan Barahona and peasant leader Rafael Alegrķa, among others, has called for two marches on January 27, the day "Pepe" Lobo will be sworn in as president. As it has maintained from the start, the goal of the resistance is the calling of a constitutional assembly to rewrite the 1982 constitution imposed by the military dictatorship.

    Ousted Honduran president Manuel Zelaya has accepted a deal to go to the Dominican Republic this week when his four-year term ends and his predecessor is sworn in, his top political adviser said. Zelaya said that he will return "when there is a process of reconciliation".
